Marlin (Buddy) L. Martin – President HMC
Marlin (better known as “Buddy”) has been in the concrete construction industry since 1973. He literally started at the bottom digging ditches as a laborer for General Develop Company. By 1978 he was self-employed and in 1980 incorporated under the name SOLAZ CONSTRUCTION. In the year 2000, Buddy, with his partner and brother-in-law, Robert Hanley, created THE HANLEY-MARTIN CORPORATION with an eye on the growing need for ADA compliance. That foresight, largely attributed to Robert, has been the key to HMC success.
